Causes of lower body pain & risk factors
Most people start noticing lower body pain between the ages of 40 and 60. However, it isn’t necessarily a cause for concern if it starts younger— some young people begin to feel the effects of lower body pain as young as 30. With more than 360 joints in the human body, it is likely we will all suffer from varying levels of lower body pain during our lives.
 
Major factors that can cause lower body joint and muscle pain, including common symptoms that often result from sprains and strains or poor posture. However, severe, or recurring pain may indicate an underlying medical condition, such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, injury, over- activity and other diseases.
 
While a little bit of lower body pain is perfectly normal, there are several signs that lower body pain is due to something more serious.
